It’s that time of year again. One of the best “holidays” ever. A day entirely dedicated to dressing up, getting free candy, and riding that sugar high right through the night!
It’s also the time of year when every photographer reaches for their camera in the hopes of seeing that perfect shot. The costumes and props make it so much fun. I’m no exception. Halloween is eye candy for all of us.
A few quick tips:
- Try shooting from different angles…get high, go low
- This is the perfect time to try out the monochrome function on your camera
- Use backlighting
- Look for interesting backgrounds but don’t lose your subject in the surroundings
- Get creative, have fun, and try something different
